SPOTLIGHT: RADOSTINA LYUBOMIROVA – FROM SERVICE DELIVERY TO WORLD CHAMPION

When Radostina Lyubomirova isn’t helping Harbor’s customers stay secure and supported, you’ll find her at a table, not working but playing. And not just playing but winning.

This summer, Radi represented Bulgaria at the Table Football World Cup in Spain, where her team brought home the championship title.

For Radi, table football (or foosball, as it’s known in some parts of the world) isn’t just a game. Over the past six years, it has become a powerful passion and a lesson in discipline, focus, and teamwork – qualities that reflect her approach to work at Harbor.

            A journey shaped by self-motivation

Radi first discovered table football about six years ago. Driven by curiosity and a determination to master something new, she saved up to buy her own table and spent countless hours practicing alone.

“I was self-motivated from the beginning,” Radi explains. “I wanted to improve, so I just kept going even when I was on my own.”

That dedication quickly paid off. She rose through local competitions, joined the national team, and started playing in the German league, one of the most competitive table football circuits in the world.

A name that speaks to her spirit

In Bulgarian, Radi’s name means “joy.” It’s a fitting reflection of her energy and the way she approaches everything she does, whether it’s mastering a tricky shot on the table football pitch or solving a complex service issue for a customer. Her joyful determination shines through and inspires those around her.

            Building a winning team

Success at the highest level demands more than just individual talent. In Spain, Radi and the Bulgarian team had to navigate intense matches, challenging opponents, and the pressure of representing their country on a global stage.

“You have to believe in a common goal,” Radi says. “In a team, everyone brings their own style, and not everyone has to be best friends, but you need to trust each other completely when it matters.”

This mindset resonates with Radi’s work in Harbor’s Service Delivery team. As part of a global support team, she collaborates with colleagues across different time zones and backgrounds, all working toward a shared mission: keeping customers’ data protected and recoverable, no matter what.

Discipline and focus on and off the table

Radi credits her success in table football with shaping her work ethic. The same discipline that pushed her to train relentlessly drives her commitment to customers.

“Staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and always keeping the end goal in sight are things I’ve learned from the game that help me every day at Harbor,” she reflects.

            More than a game

For Radi, table football isn’t just a hobby. It is a source of growth, learning, and connection that continues to inspire her both personally and professionally.

We’re proud to celebrate Radi’s incredible achievement with Team Bulgaria and even prouder to have her on Team Harbor.

Congratulations, Radi, on being a world champion, and thank you for bringing that same joyful spirit of excellence to everything you do.
